short but sweet this week-
1. Rain. I know I'm repeating myself here, but rain in the desert is very exciting!
2. Crafting. I'm a lazy crafter, but when I set aside the time to plan and then actually craft, it makes me happy. I spent 5 hours crafting on Sunday, I could use another 5 hours again soon.
3. 4th of July. It is one of my favorite holidays, and having grown up in the eastern part of the US, it is very different here than there (no grass or water). Year after year, I am appreciating the uniqueness of Arizona 4ths. Maybe no fireworks, hopefully rain, picnics indoors in front of a movie instead of outside. And now owning a house I ordered all my favorite 4th of July decorations, and they arrived today- so at least I'll have them for many years to come.
