Today is the last day of my early* 30's. Tomorrow I enter my mid-30's. I am feeling okay about this birthday, but always worry about the passage of time. Although I am never necessarily in the place I
want to be, I am always exactly where I
should be.
Age 33 was good to me, fun-filled and a year of firsts. I wonder if I'll ever be able to top this year.:
July 2010, hiked Half Dome.
July 2010, went to my bff's wedding in California!
Sept 2010, hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and out again! |
Thanksgiving, spent time with our nieces!
| January 2011, Went to my first Steelers and NFL game, the AFC divisional playoff game in PHG! |
March 2011, Ran my third half marathon, celebrated my oldest friend's b-day and went to Vegas for the first time, all in one trip!
March/April 2011- trip to Israel, including the Church of the Holy Seplechure.
| April 2011, closed and moved into our first home! |
| May 2011, D$ and I went to Chicago for the weekend which included a dinner at topolobampo! |
*as it was pointed out to me earlier 34 is still rounded down to 30, but I feel like I am making a shift from my early to mid 30s.
Yes, 34 is definitely mid. Using the rounding logic 35 would be the only mid 30s year.
ReplyDeleteAlso, when did I get older than you? Why have I always thought you were a year older than me? I'm so confused.
Maybe because I left K-State before you? Or I'm just that much more mature than you?
ReplyDeleteYay, we made the cut! =) This was an incredibly fun- and adventure-filled year for you -- here's to 34!
