1. (if work approves the 1 day off I need) run my 3rd Half Marathon in Vegas with my oldest and dearest friend Amy.
2. Meet up with my dad and brother in Pittsburgh in a few weeks for the AFC Divisional Playoff game. Airline tickets- check!, hotel room- check!, game tickets- working on it.
3. Eat less, work out more...I am hoping to aid in this by a) writing down everything I eat and b) getting to do number 1.
4. Keep the air clear between me and my husband. I have been super frustrated with him, with me, with everything as of late- and on Friday- it all just poured out of me at him. We cleared the air and hopefully together we can keep it clear and resentment free!
5. Buy a house. I feel like this is always on the list. Any list: stuff I want, stuff I don't have, goals just out of reach. Good new is, by procrastinating for so long, we have a killer down payment. :)
6. Pursue my creative side more. I am often stagnate and this is the year to fix that.
7. Write more letters. For real, with paper and pen.
8. Improve my handwriting. I have awful penmanship. I failed it in 6th grade. For reals. I downloaded some tools off the interwebs that will hopefully help me develop a signature and penmanship I'm not embarrassed by!
9. Go to Alaska.
10. So far in 2011 I've read 2 books- start to finish. I'd like to keep up that pace, but don't think it'll work- but I plan on reading at least 30 and keep track of what I read.
11. See all my nieces. I'm just getting to know my 2 youngest- and they blow me away with their humor and smarts. I hope to see all of them in 2011 at least once!
I love your goal of the number of books to read. I think I also need to keep a list - I know I read a lot, but I never remember what!
